THE TOP CLASS WEDNESDAY UPDATE WILL LOOK AFTER YOU

Hello hello, me again after a week’s break from Updating at a keyboard in favour of Updating anyone who cared to drop by at HomeGame 2 last week. Thanks to everyone who came along – just under 170 in the room and nearly 300 online – and I hope you had a nice time. I […]

THE TOP CLASS WEDNESDAY UPDATE IS 35 YARDS OUT

So there you are, not much to do really, edging forward towards the centre circle to see if you can get in shot and improve the value of your image rights, when all of a sudden bad things happen, you’re all tangled up in the net and you’re the subject of remorseless memes like this […]

THE TOP CLASS WEDNESDAY UPDATE COUNTS THEM ALL BACK IN AGAIN

And so we bear down on a full year since all this madness began. Next week will mark the anniversary of when we shut the office; seems like twice that. For those readers in Engerland with kids, I hope the return to school has been good; ours is next week and it really can’t come […]

THE TOP CLASS WEDNESDAY UPDATE JUST WANTS ITS MONEY BACK

Over the last year, the TCWU has become as much a public service as a fascinating, erudite, entertaining and above all indispensable companion to your hoisin duck wrap or whatever on a Wednesday lunchtime. This is objectively true; inasmuch as the TCWU is any of those things, it is also a public service. The exact […]

The Impact of Poor Service

We provided the research for a report, in conjunction with Parmenion, which reveals how far short of expectations many adviser platforms are falling. The research found that over the last 12 months, 88% of advisers needed to apologise to at least one of their clients on behalf of a platform, and that poor service delivery from platforms impacts 91% of advisers every day.

Answering the Call

Service means a lot of things to a lot of different people. It’s so subjective it can be hard to put your finger on. This paper aims to challenge the status quo and inertia that’s built up in the sector for many years.
